EBSS Defence and National Security SRT Workshop

This one-day workshop will bring together researchers from across the College of Education, Behavioural and Social Sciences to explore their potential alignment with Adelaide University’s Defence and National Security Signature Research Theme, including those who have not previously considered or engaged with this area. The Defence and National Security Signature Research Theme includes multiple pillars that emphasise understanding humans, societal systems, and policy, areas of clear strength within the College. The goal of this workshop is to provide an opportunity for researchers from across the College to develop new interdisciplinary collaborations aligned with the Defence and National Security Signature Research Theme. We aim to enhance collaboration across the College and expect that this workshop will assist with the planning and preparation of research projects and grant applications.

The workshop will begin with an information session focused on the Defence and National Security Signature Research Theme and related research development and grant funding opportunities. The remainder of the session will be focused on networking and developing research teams and projects, including allocated time for teams to plan future research projects and grant applications. The event will be catered, with lunch provided along with morning and afternoon breaks including coffee, tea, and snacks.
