Event description
The 2nd annual Climate Justice Conversations (CJC) is centered around a theme of Envisioning Our Collective Future. The month will culminate in our Climate Justice Forum event! Our 5th annual Climate Justice Forum will be centered around a theme of abolition ecology! We start with a reception with live music and dinner catered by Bé Ù, followed by a panel with guest speakers Aishah Abdala, Ayasha Guerin, Royal Ramey, and Emiliano Lopez, moderated by Farah Hamouda.
The event is from 5 to 8pm on Tuesday, April 23. Please come by 5pm to make sure you can get food and enjoy live music!

Accessible Route to Goldenburg Terrace (from Gateway Plaza/Bruin Plaza):
- Continue straight from Gateway Plaza past the UCLA Store and Bruin Bear. Go straight through Bruin Plaza and continue past the Student Activities Center to your right.
- At Wilson Plaza, turn right at any of the pathways and continue down to the end. Then turn left and continue until you get to the ramp leading to the Fowler Museum main entrance.
- Turn right onto the ramp and enter the Fowler Museum.
- Turn right after entering and take the elevator up to the second floor. The entrance to the terrace will be on your left.
Event Location: The event takes place at the Fowler Museum Terrace (308 Charles E Young Dr N, Los Angeles, CA 90024). You enter the Fowler Museum through the main big doors and take the elevator or stairs to the second floor. A map of the UCLA campus can be found here, and it is a short walk from Parking Structure 4.
- Parking: If you are driving, please park in Parking Lot 4. Address: 221 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90095. Please pay through either the Self-Service Pay Stations (in exact cash amount or credit card) or the ParkMobile App.
- Drop-offs Visitors can be picked up and dropped off at 305 Royce Drive (off Sunset Blvd). The turnaround area for drivers is directly behind the Fowler. Follow the sidewalk that wraps around the building to reach the front entrance.
