Echoes of the Land - Storytelling and Storycatching Workshop - Selby
Event description
This workshop invites you to join other community members to listen to the stories of the land where we live… and to tell your own.
Selby, on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people and nestled in the Dandenong Ranges, is a place of deep connection between people and nature. Echoes of the Land brings people together to reflect on place, memory, and the legacy we hope to plant for future generations.
Through story circles, creative expression, and shared reflection, we’ll explore:
The emotional and ecological stories we carry
What it means to belong to a place
Hopes we hold for the land and our communities
Activities include memory mapping, story sharing, writing a postcard to the next generation — creating space for personal insight and collective vision.
This is an invitation to speak, listen, and imagine your hopes for the future.
Morning tea provided.
