Echoes of Us - WJF 2025

Echoes of Us is a live, improvised music experience where you are the muse. In an evening of deep reflection, spontaneous creativity and genuine musicianship, a house band fronted by saxophonist and woodwind doubler Zoe Ioannou, invites you as the audience to share personal moments, memories, or themes—light-hearted, emotional, joyful, tender–anything you desire. These offerings are then to be transformed into rich, evolving soundscapes created in real-time by the musicians. Perfectly set in the warm, intimate and light atmosphere of Whisky and Wood, this event offers an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and feel heard in a way words alone often cannot achieve. Come as you are—your story may become the music that moves and echoes us all at Wellington Jazz Festival 2025.
