Melbourne/Naarm-born Benjamin Skepper, a globally respected classically trained musician, composer and curator, returns to the iconic Fitzroy Town Hall for an intimate evening of music that spans his 15-year journey as a groundbreaking solo artist. Following his recent digital debut with the release of his albums on streaming platforms, Skepper invites audiences to experience the evolution of his artistry in a captivating live performance.

"ECHOES" is a musical retrospective that weaves together Skepper's most beloved compositions from his suite of six solo albums with exciting new ambient piano works. This performance promises to showcase his mastery of grand piano, electric cello, and cutting-edge electronics, creating a multi-sensory experience that blurs the boundaries between classical traditions and contemporary sound design.

Skepper's music, will take listeners on a journey through themes of love, liberation and hope. The program will include crowd favourites like “For Our Freedom", alongside new compositions, offering both longtime followers and new listeners a chance to immerse themselves in his unique sonic landscape. His musical style connects him to contemporary minimalist composers like Ludovico Einaudi, Max Richter, and Ólafur Arnalds, positioning him at the forefront of innovative ambient and modern classical electronic music.

Returning to the historic Fitzroy Town Hall after his sell out show last year, this site-specific installation merges past and present, creating a deep listening experience that transcends time and space. Skepper's innovative approach to sound and technology promises to transform the venue into a realm of musical exploration and self-reflection, before he sets off on a long awaited European tour in summer 2025.
