Eco-Inking in the Garden
Event description
Eco-inking in the garden
Discover the colours of the Wayi Community Garden. Petals, barks and earths make fine inks! Join artist Annie Bolitho for a simple, mindful and creative activity thatβs perfect for adults and kids. Amazing possibilities await as we learn how to produce waste-free eco-inks from our gardens. We'll be making little books with our work - treasure to share.
Bring your sunhat and also a feather, a stick or random strong uncoated paper from home if you have it. Places to this event are strictly limited. If you are no longer able to attend the event, please let us know by emailing programs@necchi.org so that we can pass your ticket on to another keen participant!
About your host
Annie Bolitho is a writer and artist who is inspired by transience, change and play. She works with materials found on the lands of Naarm. Her versatile community story/arts projects, natural pigment and small book workshops find a place wherever people gather β in libraries, gardens, neighbourhood centres, on the banks of rivers and in parks.
This is an outdoor event in a garden with uneven surfaces including crushed gravel, compacted granitic sand, mulch, grass and concrete pathways.
