Make Your Own Rainbow Eco Paints and Bookmarks with Serene
Event description
Did you know that know that traditional acrylic paints, while bright and versatile, contain plastics that end up in our waterways? Not just their packaging, but the paints themselves. So whenever we use acrylic paints and rinse our brushes clean, small plastic particles are going into our waterways.
In Serene's class you'll learn to make your own eco-friendly paints in a range of colours from simple household ingredients. We'll apply these paints onto watercolour paper and learn techniques for to create really interesting effects.
As well as making your own rainbow paints, Serene will have pre-prepared paper and templates to create bookmarks of your favourite marine animals.
You don't have to be a bookworm to love these eco bookmarks! No art experience required - just come and have a wonderful time!
