Guided Nature Immersion
Description
Life In Bloom Nature Immersions are a soft landing. Time in nature to reset your nervous system, reconnect with what matters, and leave feeling grounded, nourished, and a little more whole.
Curated and guided by certified Forest Therapy Guide, Carla, each immersion is thoughtfully designed to support rest, presence and connection through slow, sensory-rich experiences in nature.
Yes, there is science behind forest bathing and nature connection but there is also a lot of feeling. These immersions are not about doing nature “the right way.” They are an invitation to slow down, notice what you notice, and experience the natural world in your own way.
All activities are invitation-based by design, allowing each person to participate in a way that feels safe, comfortable and meaningful for them.
Each immersion is hosted at one of our carefully chosen natural sites across the Mackay region, including Finch Hatton, Eungella, Cape Hillsborough and surrounds.
Locations may vary, but the intention remains the same: nature-led restoration, held with care, comfort and gentle guidance.
Please note: not all tracks are wheelchair accessible, but care is always taken to choose locations that support a safe, welcoming and restorative experience.
What you’ll experience
Guided Nature Immersion/Walk — slow walk, invitations to awaken the five senses for calm, presence, and wonder. Expect short wanders, frequent pauses, and pockets of shared silence.
Narrative Meditation — a gentle, story-led practice to integrate what the natural world offers.
Tea Ceremony — unhurried tea to close, supporting digestion, connection, and stillness.
Optional Release Ritual — an opt-in symbolic moment to lay down worry, pain, or stuckness. (Ask Carla about this during our session)
Lunch — Pizza at Mt Jukes Family Farm *set menu options to be chosen ahead of the day.
