Meet the local leaders sharing their experience 

Councillor Tony Hall, elected to Logan City Council in 2020 to represent Division 6, is a former real estate agent and circus performer who later earned First Class Honours in Communications and Marketing despite leaving school early. Deeply connected to Logan, he is committed to serving his community, supporting young people, and volunteering with local sports clubs.

Linda Nordin, Senior Associate Engineer – Waste and Resource Recovery at SMEC, and leader of the Gold Coast Circular Economy Club. Linda will share insights into the systems, partnerships, and innovations supporting a more competitive circular economy. 

Greg Zardus, Owner of AA Sunstate Packaging, brings more than 30 years of industry experience and strategic management. Greg will discuss practical, commercially minded approaches that are helping local businesses strengthen performance. 

David Radich, General Manager City Planning, Economic and Community Development at City of Logan Council will share how Logan City Council is shaping sustainable growth through strategic planning, employment land activation, and forward looking economic development.  

Colin McDonnell, Operations Manager at Munster Services Group and ecoBiz Star Partner, will outline the circular initiatives that have delivered tangible sustainability and operational gains. 

Marjon Wind,Director of Aquilon Consulting, will guide us through the Circular Economy workshop , drawing on her corporate experience and circular economy expertise to help organisations transition from linear to circular models
