In this Ecoburbia Sustainable Sunday series you will learn all you need to know to have a great veggie patch at home.
This week we will be looking INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT
Are there pests in your veggie patch? Are they getting to your produce before you can?
This workshop will consider everything we need to take into account for dealing with those pests – from creating soil with the microrganims to deal with the pests, beneficial insects and how to encourage them, companion planting and crop rotation.
You will leave armed with some information that means you’ll get more of your produce and the pests will get less! (Please note we will not cover all of the pests possible in a garden - just the main ones!)
This workshop is $20 but if you would to organise a food trade or labour swap - get in touch!
Please also bring some finger food snacks to share during a break.
