If we cancel the event or the course cannot run due to a government-mandated lockdown there will be a 100% refund.

If you cancel, up to 15 days before the event starts, we can offer a 75% refund. If you cancel up to to 7 days before the event starts, we can provide a 50% refund. Any cancellations less than 7 days before the course will be considered on a case by case basis.

Meet Our Teaching Team

Tao holds a degree in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture from UC Santa Cruz and a MSc degree in Climate Change, Agriculture, and Food Security from the National University of Ireland, Galway. She is the author of Beyond the War on Invasive Species: A Permaculture Approach to Ecosystem Restoration (Chelsea Green Publishing, 2015).

Tao serves on the Lane County Climate Advisory Committee, the Board of Directors of the Center for Rural Livelihoods, and is a founding member of Cottage Grove Climate Action. She is also an instructor in the Permaculture program at Oregon State University.

Marisha Auerbach is an internationally recognized permaculture educator, designer and speaker based in Oregon and Washington. Marisha developed the Online Food Forest Course offered through Oregon State University. She teaches that course, as well as the other permaculture courses offered through OSU. Marisha has lived and practiced permaculture in both urban and rural environments. As an avid gardener and herbalist, Marisha specializes in food forests, fruit growing, food production, ecology, and useful plants. Marisha is one of the most prolific, West Coast teachers of permaculture design courses.
