16 Days in WA: Economic Abuse Awareness Breakfast
Event description
The 16 Days in WA campaign by Department of Communities runs from 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) through to 10 December (Human Rights Day) each year. The campaign takes its inspiration from the global 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. For 16 days in November and December, the WA community is encouraged to take a part in advocating change to stop violence and economic abuse against women.
As part of this campaign, the Economic Abuse Reference Group of WA (EARGWA) invites you to attend "16 Days in WA: Economic Abuse Awareness Breakfast".
This event hosted by EARGWA and Bankwest aims to raise awareness and share knowledge about economic abuse as part of the 16 Days in WA and the one-year anniversary of the launching of EARGWA.
Join us for an insightful breakfast event in support of the 16 Days in WA Campaign, raising awareness about economic abuse, showcasing perspectives from different sectors working to combat economic abuse and advocating for transformative solutions.
