Economic Abuse Awareness Day WA Forum
Description
Economic abuse can have significant and ongoing impacts on a person’s financial security, independence and wellbeing. Preventing and responding to economic abuse requires collaboration across sectors.
This forum will bring together people working across financial counselling, family and domestic violence services, community legal services, financial services, government and the broader community sector.
The forum will create an opportunity to:
build awareness of economic abuse
consider the role different sectors can play in prevention and response
hear perspectives from across the sector
build stronger connections across sectors and services
identify opportunities for greater collaboration and coordination across Western Australia
