Stone & Chalk's Ecosystem Drinks: Women in Tech in partnership with Press Play 

Stone & Chalk's Ecosystem Drinks is Melbourne’s most sociable startup community event. Its purpose is to provide you with an opportunity to form & deepen meaningful connections into the Victorian Startup Ecosystem. 

Celebrate International Women's Day This Year by Investing in Women & Accelerating Change! Diversity fosters creativity, innovation, empathy & social cohesion. Here at Stone & Chalk, we believe that everyone should have the same opportunity for success. 

Stone & Chalk are excited to bring you this special edition of our Ecosystem Drinks run in partnership with Press Play. For International Women’s Day 2024, we’re dedicated to playing our part in celebrating & helping the outstanding women founders in emerging tech as they make a difference. We are thrilled to be more actively supporting women founders through this partnership & our International Women's Day Scholarship Program.
Press Play is at the forefront of this movement, offering unparalleled support to women entrepreneurs. From turning a budding idea into a thriving business, Press Play provides the essential tools: a growth mindset, comprehensive knowledge,& expansive networks to ensure success.They are an incredible start-up program that supports women founders in Victoria, offering personalised guidance & a supportive community to springboard ambitious women looking to become entrepreneurs. 

Our upcoming event has two parts:  
A Speed Dating event run by Press Play to help people with ideas/startups to find their perfect co-founders/service provider/freelancer matches. 
IWD Celebration and Ecosystem drinks, where there will be plenty of room to socialise with some of the most amazing people in the Victorian startup community. 

Scholarship Program:

Stone & Chalk are excited to announce our International Women's Day Scholarship program. In its third year, the Stone & Chalk 6-month IWD Scholarship is aimed at supporting founders who identify as women, as they take their startup to the next level. 

We will be announcing the winners at the Ecosystem Drinks.

Press Play Speed-Dating:

Ever been itching to join the startup life? Here's your opportunity! Press Play are organising an incredible speed-dating, where you can support a startup or a brilliant idea.
Join in for an exhilarating speed dating event if you:  
- Are looking for a co-founder?
- Are a freelancer looking for a start-up or project?
- Provide services to startups?  

When: 4:30pm - 6pm (Join in for our EcoSystem drinks after!)

Where: Level 1 Stone & Chalk

Register your interest by selecting the appropriate EOI on the register form & Press Play will be in touch! 

Please be aware there are limited spots so participation will be on a selection basis.
