EcoThreads Fest - rack rental

Ecothreads is back for its second year, and we would love to see you there! Town of Walkerville residents will receive first priority, reflecting our commitment to supporting the local community. The market will be one incredible day of sustainable fashion and community spirit, rather than spreading it across two days. The event will be held on Saturday 21 June, ensuring a jam-packed day of excitement and eco-friendly shopping. We can't wait to see you there, ready to embrace the vibrant atmosphere and find new homes for all your treasures. Let's make this Saturday unforgettable! 🛍️💚

🌿 What you can sell: All brands and styles are welcome, from modern to vintage, including clothing, shoes, handbags, and jewellery. Sell items from the following categories:

• Tops, shirts, blouses, jackets

• Pants, jeans, shorts, skirts

• Dresses, overalls

• Accessories; handbags, shoes, hats, jewellery

👕 Clothing conditions: Anything you bring must be of the condition and quality that you would be happy to receive. This means items must be in good condition, free of major faults, clean, pressed, and with lots of life left.

• 1 rack (resident) = $20

• 1 rack (non-resident) = $30

Please note 20 pieces of clothing is the strict amount per rack at any one time.

💼 What’s included:

• Shared change rooms

• Mirrors,

• Advertising

• Some stools available (please indicate if you would like one or you're welcome to bring a small camp chair)

• Limited tables available (please indicate if you need one)

What's not included: price tags, display items, signs, bags, cash floats.

💡 Before the day: Share our EcoThreads Fest social media tile or story (to be provided closer to date) to spread the word and get your friends and followers excited about the event! Have everything clearly priced & with clear signs. Consider having each area priced the same for ease. Label more expensive items clearly with RRP and sale price for ease. You need to handle your own payments directly through your preferred method—whether it's cash or your own EFTPOS facilities, such as Square readers or tap to pay through your bank app. An ATM will be available on the day for patrons needing cash to purchase products. Please ensure you have a cash float ready before the day if you are planning on accepting cash payments and only use the ATM to restock if need be.

📅 On the day:

• Date & Time: Saturday, 21 June 2025, 10am – 2pm

• Location: Walkerville Town Hall, 66 Walkerville Terrace, Gilberton, SA 5081

• Free parking: car park entrance located off Stephen Terrace

• Rack hirers: Please arrive from 8:30am Saturday morning to set up. Contact us if you'd like to drop off your items on the Friday afternoon.

🚪 Disclaimer: We have organised change rooms for your convenience inside the room, strategically placed within clear view of all racks. However, if you're not offering try-ons, kindly inform patrons to avoid any confusion. While we strive for everyone to act responsibly, please note that the Town of Walkerville cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to your belongings. For added peace of mind, consider bringing a friend along on the day. Rest assured, there will be security personnel on-site throughout the event.
