Explore the depths of your being through free-form movement, connecting body, mind, and spirit. This event is perfect for anyone seeking a deeper connection to themselves and others through movement, whether you are a seasoned dancer or a curious beginner. How it will flow...

Guided Warm-Up: Ease into the dance with a gentle, guided warm-up session. Our facilitator will help you tune into your body, release tension, and prepare for the journey ahead by taking you through a short shaking meditation. Also known as the Kundalini meditation. Shaking helps to clear blocks, detox the lymph and energise the body to access greater freedom.

Ecstatic Dance Waves: Move through a dynamic dance wave, designed to evoke different emotions and states of being. From slow, meditative movements to energetic, cathartic expressions, allow the music and your body to guide you.

Live DJ & World Music: Experience the transformative power of a live DJ featuring an eclectic mix of world music, tribal beats, ambient sounds, and more. The carefully curated music will create an atmosphere that supports your inner exploration and outer expression.

Sacred Space: Dance in a safe and sacred space where judgment is left at the door. Our venue is designed to foster a sense of community, connection, and freedom, allowing you to express yourself authentically and without inhibition.

Integration Circle: Conclude the evening with a sharing circle where you can reflect on your experience, integrate your insights, and connect with fellow dancers. This is a time to honour your journey and ground yourself before returning to the outside world.

No shoes, we dance bare foot to ground and connect with the earth, freeing your feet will free the body as well as the mind.

No talking on the dance floor, the space becomes safe to express and feel into your dance when the mind pauses the need to communicate through words. Keep the space safe for each other.

NEW TO DANCING DHEVAS...

The ecstatic dance is a process of delving into your own individual, original dance, it is so unique to you and how you move that it can not be reproduced by anyone else. This gives us the freedom from constraints and judgements so we can explode our potential to move until it unleashes the dancer within. The room takes on a different energy as everyone drops into their dance and natural ecstasy is reached.

We have been teaching Conscious dance in WA for 14 years, trained in various modalities and taught numerous classes, workshops and retreats. The essence never changes, the purity and simplicity humbles us each time we step onto the dance floor and we are ever grateful to the community around us and the earth that holds us.
