WHAT: Ecstatic Dance on the Cosmic PlaYground with DJ Bijou ~ Music is Medicine, Music is Magick, Music is Ministry

WHEN: Sunday September 8 @9-11am

WHERE: Edward D Hansen Center in the Angel of the Winds Arena at 2000 Hewitt Ave in Everett, WA 98201, Parking on the Street is Free

HOW: Ecstatic dance is a free-form dance. No experience required. No rhythm required. No steps to follow. You will be listening to the music, and listening to your body. It is a meditative experience, often with no speaking on the dance floor.

Please avoid bringing artificial scents into the space. Avoid wearing or plan to take off any hanging jewelry. Plan for the option of taking off your shoes.

HOW MUCH: $10 ahead, $15 at the door and $10 for those with a Booth at the Fair

WHO: DJ Bijoux

Jules (aka DJ Bijoux) is a 2nd generation DJ, who grew up working in her father’s record store in Miami. Music is in her blood.

Bijoux was raised to understand that music takes us on a journey. It heals, it has power and grace. It can bring us together. It can raise us up.

Her happy place is on a dance floor surrounded by shiny, happy, colorful humans, freely expressing themselves, moving as one with the music and each other.
