Ecstatic Dance for Peace
Description

Ecstatic Dance for Peace
September 19: 4 PM – 8 PM
Ecstatic Dance is a combination of yoga, meditation, and a dance party all in one. It’s a
mindful journey of movement, emphasizing the cathartic, trance-like and healing
qualities of dance. “This is a wonderful opportunity to have fun, get into your body,
dance, explore nonverbal expression, and heal by letting go."
This month we are extending the theme of Peace at Greenshire Institute, both for
ourselves and the planet. Our warmup will consist of guided meditation and gentle
movement to attune our bodies for being instruments and amplifiers for peace as we
continue to dance and wind down. We ask that if you come you commit to the full
experience to uphold the integrity of the container.
