It's been exactly 5 years since we ran our last Perth Ecstatic Dance, just before Covid and we are so happy to be back!

The night will be set in the iconic North Perth town hall, a space that holds great history and has a wonderful wooden dance floor.

Dance like no one is watching and let your inner dancer free, it is what we live for and can't wait to share it with the Perth community. Expert guidance will lead your body through a warm up, the music then takes you on a journey rising up to a crescendo of ecstasy and descending down through grooves and into a blissful finale.

Move your body, move your emotions, move your mind and connect with your spirit.

No right or wrong and no set moves, open up to a world of possibilities beyond your imagination, with friends on the dance floor and great music.

The Dancing Dhevas community is a group dedicated to dancing with passion and authenticity, there is no talking and yet so much is communicated on dance floor. We started in 2010 and have grown organically into a thriving community of young and old, dancers and non dancers, movers and groovers from all walks of life.

Dance your dance, no one else can do it for you.

No right or wrong or set moves, open up to a world of possibilities beyond your imagination on an open dance floor with great music.

6:30 to 9pm, DOORS SHUT at 7:00 no entry after then.

Please bring a water bottle, put away phones and shoes before entering the dance floor.

Request a refund or ticket transfer to another event upto 24hrs before the event starts after which there are no refunds or transfers.

No shoes, we dance bare foot to ground and connect with the earth, freeing your feet will free the body as well as the mind.

No talking on the dance floor, the space becomes safe to express and feel into your dance when the mind pauses the need to communicate through words. Keep the space safe for each other.

NEW TO DANCING DHEVAS...

The ecstatic dance is a process of delving into your own individual, original dance, it is so unique to you and how you move that it can not be reproduced by anyone else. This gives us the freedom from constraints and judgements so we can explode our potential to move until it unleashes the dancer within. The room takes on a different energy as everyone drops into their dance and natural ecstasy is reached.

We have been teaching Conscious dance in WA for 14 years, trained in various modalities and taught numerous classes, workshops and retreats. The essence never changes, the purity and simplicity humbles us each time we step onto the dance floor and we are ever grateful to the community around us and the land that holds us.

This event is not suitable for kids (18+)
