Event description

Step into a world of rhythm and movement with Ecstatic Dance Trilogy, a space where dance becomes a form of meditation, healing, and self-expression. This event is more than just a dance party; it's a safe, judgment-free zone that encourages you to explore your body's natural movement to a dynamic and uplifting soundscape. No steps to follow, no specific form—just the freedom to move however your spirit desires.

As you dance, you will be guided by the rhythms and sounds, allowing emotions to surface and be released in a supportive environment. This is a space to embrace vulnerability, connect with others non-verbally, and celebrate the joy of movement. The event will conclude with a closing integration, providing you the opportunity to reflect on your experience and share insights with fellow participants. By the end of the night, you’ll leave feeling rejuvenated, empowered, and more in tune with your authentic self, carrying the transformative energy of Ecstatic Dance into your everyday life.

FLOW OF EVENING:
7-7:45 pm: Warm Up Dance Class facilitated by Niki Caro
7:45-8 pm: Opening Circle + Ecstatic Dance Agreements
8-9:45 pm: Ecstatic Dance Journey with Swahé
9:45-10 pm: Sound Bath with Rebecca Camacho + Closing Circle

WARM UP DANCE CLASS: Niki Caro -@nikiscaro
Niki will be guiding you through Somatic Conversations - a guided exploration of how we converse with the language of the body and others through embodiment and dance. We’ll start by reconnecting with our own authenticity, exploring self and movement through the 5 elements. From there, we'll explore how we can communicate with others through movement, diving into playful and connective partner exercises to build trust and relatability.

ECSTATIC DANCE JOURNEY: Swahé - @swahe_
Swahé has been a transformative force in the world of ecstatic dance and festival music for over a decade. As a touring DJ and creator, his unique sound has electrified dance floors around the globe. His music is deeply rooted in his diverse heritage, blending the rhythms of Latin bass, Middle Eastern melodies, angelic ratchet, booty dropping sexy beats and Indigenous instruments.

In addition to his DJ career, Swahé has spent 17 years as a dedicated kundalini yoga teacher and Kirtan leader, using his deep connection to spiritual and ecstatic practices to guide others in their journeys of awakening.

Swahé created and owns Gaia Dance Temple and The Golden Temple in the heart of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala—two unique and beautiful sanctuaries for those seeking to connect deeply with themselves and others through dance and spiritual practices. He is the visionary behind the world renowned Embodiment Ecstatic Dance Festival, which brings together a global community to celebrate and explore the ecstatic arts.

Through his music, Swahé creates an immersive experience that transcends the ordinary, inviting dancers to enter a state of bliss and transformation. Whether on the festival circuit or within the sacred spaces he has created, Swahé's sets are more than just music—they are a journey into the heart of ecstatic awakening.
