Blake Cateris' debut EP Rearranging Deckchairs On The Titanic was released worldwide on November 17.
The Australian Sydneysider fuses the genres of folk singer-songwriter, with his punk music background and has a musical resume that many dream of, having shared the stage with the likes of Brett Lee, CJ Ramone, Danny Worsnop, Guttermouth, Bodyjar, Hard-Ons, Gyroscope, 28 Days and The Getaway Plan, as well as holding a nine-year residency at the iconic Frankie’s Pizza By The Slice.
Cateris has turned over a new leaf with his folk inspired singer-songwriter solo project, drawing inspiration from the writings of songwriters that connect at the core of the soul fusing the stories with the honesty of real-life events.
Sally Pepper:
With a big voice and knack for finding the catchiest of hooks, Sally Pepper will have you singing along anthem after anthem with brilliant weighty stories behind each and every song. You'll be led on a journey and come out a better person for it after seeing Pepper perform.
Ed Poole:
With brooding acoustic guitar lines and soaring vocals, Ed Poole weaves emo, punk rock and folk with dark, atmospheric tones, all together delivered with a passionate and powerful live performance. After leaving his native Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, back in 2004, he enjoyed several years of recording and touring with bands across the UK and Europe, before eventually becoming a staple of (his adopted hometown) Liverpool’s DIY scene with his solo project. Ed Poole has since been captivating live audiences up and down the UK for over a decade. After two EPs and a split with label-mate, Seven Years Behind, his debut album, Envelop/Erase was released in 2019 via Liverpool based indie-label, Doing Life Records.
