ABOUT EDEN ARMSTRONG

Eden Armstrong is a jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader who is fast becoming a leading voice in the Brisbane jazz scene. He has had the privilege of learning from and performing with esteemed local and international musicians from Brisbane, Sydney, New York, UK, and many others.

Eden and his trio will celebrate their favourite piano trios, including some of his preeminent influences such as; Barry Harris, Cedar Walton, Bill Evans, Brad Mehldau, and Bud Powell. The trio has been working together now for 5 years, and have culminated a fresh approach to this music, rooted in their love for the Great American Songbook, the great piano trios, and their love for swinging music.
