EdEvents Connect brings the international school community together for informal, focused meetups around the ideas, challenges and opportunities shaping schools.For our first Singapore Connect of the new school year, we’re looking at technology, AI and innovation — and the new opportunities emerging for educators and schools in the year ahead.

This Connect meetup is for…

All educators interested in technology, innovation and the changing possibilities for schools.We’ll hear from three Singapore-based founders with strong connections to the international school community, exploring what they are building, how they got started, the problems they are trying to solve, and what their work tells us about where education and AI may be heading.

• Ansel Natarajan, a former Singapore American School student and founder of IEP-Pal.com, will share the story behind his AI startup and the problem he is setting out to solve.

• Andre Lim and Jed Ng, founders of Pallo.ai, will talk about their journey building a local AI startup and how they are approaching opportunities emerging through AI.

• Liam Benjamin, formerly of Dulwich College Singapore and now founder of Teach Me Quickly, will explore the importance of creativity in an AI-enabled world — and why the arrival of powerful new tools should expand rather than diminish the role of creative thinking in education.

The presentations will be short, leaving plenty of time to meet other educators, exchange ideas and reconnect with the Singapore international school community at the start of the year.
