Event description
EDGE 10:10 is a day for Victorian Baptist Pastors aimed at encouraging, development, growth and empowerment. King Solomon, wrote “If the axe is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength will be needed, but skill will bring success” Ecclesiastes 10:10. This day is for sharpening your pastoral edge.
This June, the theme will be “Leadership Matters: facing the challenges of pastoral leadership today.”
- Generations & Emerging Leaders Pastor Kimberly Smith will help us reflect on the changes we have experienced during the COVID pandemic and how we can respond.
- Rev Daniel Bullock will help us understand the pressing need for Baptist Pastors to be leaders today and how that can be a blessing to our churches in these times.
- I, along with other PLS&D Team members will help pastors consider how to lead from a full heart and the difference that can make to our ministry.
This day will be valuable for all pastors, including those in associate pastor and generation pastor roles The day will have interactive sessions and will provide an opportunity for personal reflection, ministry reflection as well as connection with other pastors.
