A 4 week series designed to guide you through the fundamentals of Edgework.

We’ll meet for 4 × 1.5 hour sessions, where I’ll take you through a full body and ankle focused warm up, edgework drills and conditioning, individual skills and a choreographed routine, levelling up week by week.

Whether you’re brand new to edgework or an intermediate dancer wanting to refine your technique and flow, this series is for you.

Please note:

This is a 4 week commitment and you are required to attend every session.

Mondays 6:00 - 7:30pm
November 9, 16, 23 & 30

Early bird discount available until September 22.

The studio is booked until 8pm, so you’re welcome to stay for the final half hour after class to practice, hang out and have a chat.

Is this series for you?

If your goal is to speed through 1000 new moves without going into detail or refinement, this course probably isn’t for you.

If you value technique, love to dance in heels, want to improve your edgework skills and enjoy taking your time to perfect the basics, this series is for you.

Prerequisites:

This series is not suitable for complete beginners to pole dance.

You must already be confident moving and dancing in heels and have enough upper body strength for pole climbs and pole sits.

You should already be comfortable with things like:

Walks
Pirouettes
Momentum turns

Heels:

Heels are mandatory.

Sandals are recommended, however boots are welcome. If wearing boots, please make sure you don’t tie the laces too tightly so you can move freely through your ankles.

What to bring:

Heels
Socks
Water bottle
An outfit that makes you feel confident
