Join the lovely Sarah Heath from Basilea Living Herbs and explore the tastiest edible flowers to grow in your garden, their flavours, and how to grow and use them. Plus tips on harvesting your homegrown herbs to ensure an abundant continuous crop.

This is a hands on workshops with tastings of edible flowers, and demonstration of how to use them in making salads and pesto. You will leave with the knowledge to harvest and preserve your edible flowers and homegrown herbs with confidence.

Free onsite parking (Take the turn off from Mt Samson Rd, into Green Thumb Farm. Take the first turn to the left which leads you past a little red building (this is where you will meet Sarah for the workshop).

Sarah is a dedicated and talented second-generation family farm owner of Basilea Living Herbs. The farm focuses on growing a local and sustainable business to ensure that every home in Brisbane, north of Brisbane and Moreton Bay areas can have locally grown, spray-free, nutritional herbs, greens and edible flowers in their kitchen garden which can be used every day in their kitchen.
