Event description
Meet Jason Ross from Habitate Edible Habitats in his well established and productive home garden in Waitati where Permaculture systems generate healthy soil and plants. Choose one or more of these opiions:
10am-12pm Open Garden - $15pp
Immerse yourself in an established productive edible landscape that will be open for two hours in the morning, Jason will be there to answer any questions. This is a great chance to see a well established productive permaculture home garden and ask questions .
1pm-2.30pm Guided Permaculture Garden Tour 1 - $30pp
This relaxed tour with Jason focuses on Permaculture Design Principles that can be used to create your edible garden while optimising soil and plant health. These make the garden healthier & more resilient and easier to look after.
3pm-4.30pm Guided Fruit Growing Tour 2 - $30pp
This relaxed tour with Jason focuses on small garden fruit tree & berry growing. Choosing fruit trees, maintenance & chop and drop for optimal orchard soil fertility & health.
Other Information:
You are welcome to bring children if you keep an eye on them throughout!
No dogs.
There is no requirement to wear a mask outdoors, but you are very welcome to if you like.
Please do not come if you are a close contact to a person with Covid or feel unwell yourself.

We will go ahead whatever the weather, we will be outside, so dress warm!
