Edible Garden Open Day and Tours

Open Garden: 10am-12pm
Followed by two focused guided tours with Jason:
Tour 1: 1pm-2.30pm
Tour 2: 3pm-4.30pm
Jason’s garden is well established and the permaculture systems he uses generate healthy soil and plants.

Details of Open Day and Tour bookings:
10am-12pm Open Garden- $15pp + booking fee
Immerse yourself in an established productive edible landscape that will be open for two hours in the morning, and Jason will be there to answer any questions. This is a great chance to see a well established productive permaculture home garden and ask questions.
1pm-2.30pm Guided Tour 1 - $30pp + booking fee
This tour focuses on Permaculture Design Principles that can be used to create your edible garden while optimising soil and plant health. These make the garden healthier & more resilient and easier to look after.
3pm-4.30pm Guided Tour 2 - $30pp + booking fee
This tour focuses on small garden fruit tree & berry growing. Choosing fruit trees, maintenance & chop and drop for optimal orchard soil fertility & health.
Other Information:
You are welcome to bring children if you keep an eye on them throughout!
No dogs.
There is no requirement to wear a mask outdoors, but you are very welcome to if you like.
Please do not come if you are a close contact to a person with Covid or feel unwell yourself.

We will go ahead whatever the weather, we will be outside, so dress warm!

Most of our plants are heritage/heirloom varieties (pre-1930’s), and have been selected for our catalogue because they are diverse in their uses, tasty and easier to grow than most newer varieties which have been bred for industrial growing systems rather than home gardens.
