Warm, waterproof clothing — the forest doesn’t mind the weather, and neither do we
Sturdy hiking boots or gumboots
Long pants to protect from scratches and insects

A wicker basket and a foraging knife
Camera or phone for capturing your finds
An outdoor chair for our shared lunch and chats in the forest
