Edible perennials (repeat workshop)
Event description
Edible perennials - workshop
Growing food at home is becoming increasingly popular, but edible perennials are often overlooked. Not only are edible perennials more resilient, sturdy, and easy to grow than many of their annual counterparts - they can use less water, create more shade and cooling, help build healthy soil, and store more carbon.
There is no better time to introduce edible perennials to your garden! In this workshop, Charlotte from Sustainable Gardening Australia will talk about the benefits, and how to grow, a variety of edible perennials. Come along for the opportunity to participate in a hands on propagation activity.
