The Calzones are a 3 piece, pan genre guitar trio led by Ben Eldridge and augmented by Jonty O'Connor on drums and Dougal Canard on electric bass.
The group has its roots in the traditional guitar trio sound, bringing to mind players like Barney Kessel and Kenny Burrell, but they also love to interpret other genres through the guitar trio lens as well as perform works by more modern players like Jim Campilongo.
Pop tunes, rock n roll, surf guitar, travis picking and loungey latin grooves are all styles that the group likes to play so be sure to come and check out what promises to be a great evening of  music as the group plays two sets that are sure to be brimming with classic guitar tunes.
