Frequently Asked Questions:

Who should attend this session?

Parents/carers of children of primary school age.

Can I bring my child?

Yes, as long as you are happy for them to learn about all of the content (including conversations about pornography).

Why should I attend this session?

Kids are full of questions, and they (or their peers) start going through puberty around age 8. This session can help you to be confident that you are giving them accurate and up to date information to support their development. Puberty education has changed a lot in the past few years so it is good to refresh your knowledge!

Why is there a section discussing LGBTIQA+?

Puberty can be a challenging time for everyone, but especially for young people who might start to identify as LGBTIQA+. This section will prepare you to support your young person with discussions in relation to LGBTIQA+.
