Educators, this one's for you!- New Event

The Educator Hangout is a relaxed evening to meet other folks who teach and make, connect over shared work, and craft something just for the joy of it. All kinds of educators welcome, all skill levels too. Come hang, craft, and find your people at SCRAP.

Teaching is a making practice too, but it's easy to spend all your creative energy on everyone else and have none left for yourself. The Educator Hangout is our standing invitation to change that.

This is a relaxed, no-agenda evening for educators of every kind: classroom teachers, teaching artists, camp counselors, homeschool guides, guest educators, and anyone who spends their days helping other people learn and create. Come meet folks doing similar work, swap ideas and war stories, and actually make something with your own two hands. We'll have the studio open, materials out, and good company on hand. Bring a project you've been meaning to start, or just show up and see what the scrap pile inspires.

No skill level required, no finished product expected. Just educators, community, and craft.

Spots are limtied due to space and resources. EDU adults only are preferred, but we understand circumstances/childcare concerns, please just let us know ahead of time!
