Description

Early childhood educators give so much of themselves every day — to children, families, their teams and their communities.

ACA Western Australia wanted to do something practical to recognise that contribution, so we’re bringing Chris Phoenix from Phoenix Support for Educators to Perth for a dedicated two-hour Educator Wellbeing session.

This is time set aside for educators themselves.

The session will provide an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, reflect on wellbeing and consider practical ways to better support yourself while continuing to support others

Tickets

ACA WA member services can now book up to TWO FREE places for this session.

There is no competition, no form and no waiting for approval — simply select one or two complimentary tickets and book your educators in.

Complimentary places are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additional places are available for $25 per person, including GST and booking fees.

We’ve deliberately kept the paid ticket price low to make the session as accessible as possible.

Who is this session for?

This session is for early childhood educators and others working directly with children and teams across the early learning sector.

Whether you are an educator, room leader, educational leader or service leader, this is an opportunity to put some time aside for your own wellbeing.

About the session

Educator wellbeing matters.

This session is designed to support educators to reflect on their own wellbeing, consider the needs that influence how they feel and function, and think about practical ways to make more sustainable choices in their work and life.

The focus is practical, relevant and centred on the educator.

A little something back

Early Childhood Educators’ Day is about recognising the important role educators play in supporting children’s wellbeing, learning and development.

For ACA WA, we wanted that recognition to go beyond simply saying thank you.

We hope this session provides educators with something practical, useful and genuinely focused on them.

Places are limited. Book early to secure your place.
