Edward Albee's plays, "The Sandbox" and "The Zoo Story" are the most important American presentations of Absurdist Drama in the tradition of Samuel Beckett, Eugène Ionesco, and Jean Genet. If you enjoy these works you should consider coming to see our production of Eugene Ionesco's "The Bald Prima Donna". Part of our aim is to acquaint students, casts and audiences with some of the key theatrical events of the past hundred years. We hope you find these works entertaining, thought provoking and engaging.
