This year EFCL will be offering to all religious and lay colleagues, the opportunity to attend our scheduled event in April in Melbourne, an opportunity to experience communio, collaboration, inter-connectedness; share experiences and learnings; receive formation and find support.
- Monday-Tuesday April 28-29 in Melbourne at Treacy Centre, Parkville
Intended participants
- members of the leadership team of current service partners and canonical delegate and consultors
- all staff managed or employed by EFCL, including religious in the role of Community Coordinator
- Member Representatives of the religious institutes that form the Company of EFCL, along with Board Directors
- members of leadership teams and any religious or lay colleagues who would like to find more out more about the Emerging Futures Collaborative
Formation highlights: Elizabeth Dowling rsm, “our” theologian, will present a session during the morning of the first day and Lauri Brink op (CTU Chicago) will be presenting in a recorded format on the second day.
We plan to have sessions on the various aspects of Emerging Futures, along with sessions led by current service partners and staff that give more insight into what it is like to be involved in Emerging Futures. There will be ample opportunity for table talk, to learn more from various leaders/leadership team members and staff, and there will be a dinner on site on the evening of the first day when participants can engage with each other in more relaxed circumstances.
