EGC Famil 2025 – Connect & Discover: Institution Host Invitation & Instructions
Location: Lakeside View Room, HOTA (Home of the Arts), Gold Coast
Date: Tuesday, 21 October 2025
Time: 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Set-up from: 2:00 PM
Parking: Your first 4 hours of parking at HOTA are free. Simply register your vehicle at a pay station on arrival to redeem.

As part of the Experience Gold Coast (EGC) Family 2025, the Education Team is proud to welcome international delegates, school counsellors, and education advisors from around the world to experience the Gold Coast’s world-class education offerings.
While our four-day program is packed with immersive visits and professional development opportunities, time constraints mean we can’t visit every incredible institution in person. That’s why we've created Connect & Discover. This special event brings together our international delegates and showcases the Gold Coast's diverse and high-quality education providers, all in one place.
Instructions & Important Information
Arrival & Set-up:
Please arrive by 2:00 PM to allow sufficient time for setup.
You’ll be allocated a display space to showcase your institution (approximately one trestle table per provider).
What you can bring:
Pull-up banners
Printed materials or brochures
Business cards
Laptops or tablets (optional, for showcasing videos or presentations)
Small branded giveaways (optional)
Dress code: Business attire
Event begins promptly at 3:00 PM
Event Agenda
2:00 pm - Members arrive to set up |
2:45 pm - St Hilda’s Choir presentation |
2:45 pm - Delegates arrive – choir music, finger food & refreshments served |
3:10 pm - Welcome & opening by EGC |
3:20 pm - Guest speaker |
3:30 pm - Member introductions (2–3 mins per institution, facilitated by EGC) |
4:00 pm - Open networking between delegates and member institutions |
6:00 pm - Event closes |
Your Role
Your brief presentation (2–3 minutes) is a chance to:
Introduce your institution
Highlight your international student offering
Emphasise what makes your school or campus unique
Promote the Gold Coast’s lifestyle and support for international students
Following the introductions, you’ll have time for one-on-one networking with delegates, so please be ready to engage and answer questions.
