Event description

EI Women Arising with Sue Tsigaros and Sahera Sumar

A FULL-DAY immersive experience exploring Emotional Intelligence for WOMEN LEADERS

  • How does EI enhance your Leadership to be more adaptive, agile and resilient?
  • Why is easier to identify a lack of EI in other people, than it is to understand our own?
  • Is it a "real" intelligence and could it be a differentiating factor in your success?
  • How does EI enable a more Inclusive culture? And why is that important?

Each of the above examples can be mapped back to the way we use our Emotional Intelligence (EI) - in relationships, tasks, decisions and self-care. How does this shape the perceptions we hold about self, others and the contexts in which we live and work.

Understanding how you can enhance your EI can significantly increase your capacity to earn, learn, and lead whilst enjoying a whole new sense of living ‘on purpose’.

Join us for EI Women Arising, an immersive experience involving theory, practice and praxis.

  • Unpacking of the popular EI models
  • Specific techniques for identifying and managing emotions,
  • Reflective practices using mindfulness & movement
  • Deepening self-awareness and authentic expression
  • Reflect on your own leadership styles and sense of alignment
  • Communicating with empathy and building connection
  • Leading with emotional intelligence

Who should attend ?

  • Women in management aspiring to senior leadership
  • Senior leaders focused on personal growth and strengthening self-leadership
  • CEO’s, Business Leaders wanting to foster a culture of EI and Inclusion in their workplace

    Why EI ?

Emotional intelligence is a critical component of effective leadership, as it allows leaders to create a more positive and productive work environment, build strong relationships with their employees, and navigate complex interpersonal dynamics.

  1. Improve communication: Leaders with high emotional intelligence can communicate more effectively, as they are better able to understand and articulate their own emotions, as well as the emotions of others. In doing this, it minimizes misunderstandings and conflict, and create a more positive and productive work environment.
  2. Increase employee engagement: When employees feel that their leaders understand and care about their emotions, they are more likely to feel engaged and committed to their work. Emotional intelligent leaders are able to create a sense of psychological safety, which can help to foster creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
  3. Better decision-making: Leaders with high emotional intelligence are better able to make informed and balanced decisions, as they are able to take into account the emotions and perspectives of others. This can help to avoid biased decision-making and create more effective solutions to complex problems.
  4. Enhancing team performance: Emotional intelligent leaders are able to build stronger relationships with their employees, which can lead to increased trust, respect, and loyalty. This can help to create a more cohesive and high-performing team, as employees are more likely to work together effectively and support one another.
