Hailing from Ōtautahi Christchurch, EIGEN (eye-gun) is a Drum & Bass DJ and producer known for a dark, cinematic and experimental sound, blending high-energy jump-up, minimal and heavy D&B into technically driven sets. A growing staple of the Christchurch scene, EIGEN has shared lineups and supported international and national acts including Tantron, FMS, Sudley, Amplify and Deep Notion, while appearing at major events including Rolling Meadows 2024 and 2025. His live résumé also includes performances at Christchurch’s Hide Club, including support for SOTA in 2024, Entity in 2025, and IMANU in 2026. On the production side, EIGEN has released music through Riot Records and Ruude Studios, with releases including “Darker” with JET A-1 and “DON’T DIE". With five years behind the decks and a reputation for high-energy selections, intricate blends and an unmistakably dark sound, EIGEN continues to carve out his place within Aotearoa’s emerging Drum & Bass movement.
