Eils & the Drip single launch @ Shotkickers

Get ready to dust off your cowboy boots and don your Friday night bests, as Eils & The Drip roll in to launch their latest single Easy Rider at one of Melbourne’s most beloved live music venues, Shotkickers. This Alt-country 6 piece will take you on a high energy musical ride featuring lap steel, pedal steel, keys, guitar, bass, drums and plenty of harmonies. The sound is rich and full – at times with a twang reminiscent of Neil Young’s Harvest or Dylan’s Nashville Skyline, while other times leaning towards a more riff-heavy blues rock sound, to a modern flavoured light-hearted pop country aesthetic with songs like their brand new single Easy Rider. 

Recorded in Eileen Hodgkins (Eils) and Rick Steward’s home studio in the rolling hills of Hadfield, mix by George Carpenter and mastered by Joe Carra, the band are beyond excited and proud to be presenting this brand new banger into the ether. 

Eils & The Drip bring a raw and relentless energy to the stage, one not to be missed.

Joining them on the night will be none other than a couple of absolute powerhouse performers, Loretta Miller (Full Band) and Freya Jospehine Hollick (Solo).
