We are excited to announce an upcoming event dedicated to promoting accessible tourism in our region, covering all aspects from employment opportunities to building accessibility and digital promotional tools.
Event Details:
Date: Wednesday, 17 April Time: 6:00 - 8:30pm
Location: Ekhidna Kitchen & Wines, 67 Branson Rd, McLaren Vale SA 5171
Speakers:
- Liz Curr from SYC will delve into "The Tourism Local Navigator Project," assisting small to medium businesses in creating accessible, inclusive workplaces.
- Kate Meade & Jason Neave will introduce the Pavely App, a social planning app facilitating accessibility by helping individuals find accessible venues and facilities across the state. They will also touch on web accessibility.
- Holly Rickard from Bright Space Projects will share insights into accessibility audits for physical locations and funding opportunities for building upgrades.
Event Highlights:

- Canapes and a welcome drink will be provided.
