Event description
Join ecologist Michael Longmore for a relaxed guided walk through the grassy woodlands of Darebin Creek Forest Park (a.k.a. Electric Spur) and discover local wildflowers — a hidden treasure in the urban landscape.
Learn to identify native orchids, lilies, and more, while exploring their unique ecology. Then stick around afterwards for a cuppa and a chat.
Meet at the reserve entrance opposite Gona Street.
Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather (raincoat, sun safe etc.).
Bring drinking water.
