Electric Vehicle Basics

The NSW Branch of the Australian Electric Vehicle Association (AEVA) and North Sydney Council presents this hands-on course for new and prospective Electric Vehicle (EV) owners. The course provides a basic introduction to owning, driving and charging an EV. All knowledge levels welcome, no questions are too basic. : )

Course outline

Participants will learn about:

• The similarities and differences between EVs and fuel burning cars
• Charging your EV: for travel around Sydney
• Charging your EV: for long distance The EV driving experience
• What's better, different (noise, acceleration, regenerative breaking, charging apps, charging etiquette)

*At the end of the workshop please join us for an optional hands-on charging experience at a Council charging station.
