Guardians Institute is dedicated to the development of youth through literacy, New Orleans’ indigenous cultural arts and West African and New World oral traditions.

saQi
Drawing his name from the Sufi title for a mystic muse, saQi is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer. As an early pioneer of live-electronic music in the West Coast scene he has continued to innovate and explore new realms of sonic alchemy by fusing elements of American blues, hip-hop, latin and soul with the refined minimalism of European dance genres. He is often joined by the sultry singer and multi-instrumentalist Diamonde.

Hailing from the hills of Santa Cruz, CA, KR3TURE is a maestro of modern live/electronic fusion. His fun and sexy guitar-infused anthems laced with sultry vocals leave dancefloors sweaty as they sing along his infectious melodies. With roots in blues, rock, and indie pop, KR3TURE has pioneered a way to bridge the worlds of acoustic and electronic dance music. The project is rapidly becoming a force to be reckoned with in the West Coast and beyond. Morillo
At the young age of 7, Morillo first stepped into the world of music by sitting down behind a set of drums and discovering his passion for creating captivating grooves. With three albums, three ep's, and a multitude of singles and remixes released on established labels like Gravitas Recordings, Muti Music, High Vibe Records, Tribal Trap, Hybrid Trap, Simplify, and Play Me Records, Morillo has built a project and musical identity for himself that has been celebrated on main stages and festivals around the world.
Siren & Seer
Siren & Seer is the new vision of producer/multi-instrumentalist saQi and vocalist/songwriter Diamonde. The duo gives a fresh take on live electronic music by merging traditional idioms of Americana, folk, gypsy and blues with cutting edge dance music genres. S&S tastefully reimagine sounds of the past for a modern context and create a multi-dimensional world where refinement of a Victorian era can co-exist with roots of Appalachia and rawness of the urban underground.
