Globally, women only represent 1 in every 5 startup founders, despite research showing women-led startups are more capital-efficient, achieve 35% higher return on investment, and, when venture-backed, bring in 12% higher revenue than their male counterparts. 

Women will start, shape, and build the future of Aotearoa industry, but change needs to come faster.  

Spearheaded by Ministry of Awesome and Blackbird Ventures, the all-day conference Electrify Aotearoa is the rallying call for Aotearoa’s founders, aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage startups to take part and celebrate our homegrown diversity. 

You’ll hear stories of grit and Kiwi ingenuity from those who have gone before you and learn from exclusive masterclasses with top practitioners and investors to level up your startup experience.

Brooke Roberts from Sharesies, Alliv Samson COO of award winning startup Kami, and Yabble’s Kathryn Topp are amongst the list of keynote speakers alongside the movers and shakers of Aotearoa’s startup scene.

Electrify Aotearoa and its organising partners are committed to hosting a COVID-safe conference. As such, we will follow the Government’s COVID-19 social gathering and events guidelines to ensure the safety of attendees, speakers and staff members. If the event is cancelled by us due to unforeseeable circumstances such as COVID restrictions, we will offer you a full refund. If the event is postponed to a later date then all tickets will be transferred to the new date with no additional charges. If you cannot make the back-up date, we will refund your ticket upon request.
