 Electrify Everything in Canada Bay
Have you heard about the push to ‘Electrify Everything’ and wondered what it means for you?
Come along to this free workshop hosted by Canada Bay Zero Carbon Community and hear from expert local and national speakers as they talk about the various aspects of electrifying your home. These speakers will cover topics such as solar power, batteries, insulation, heat pumps, induction cooking, electric vehicles and disconnecting from gas. The speakers include:
- Kristen McDonald (Rewiring Australia, Mobilisation and Engagement Manager) - What does electrify everything mean?
- Stephen Du (Australian Electric Vehicle Association, NSW Vice-Chair) - Electric vehicles
- Marianne Foley (Resident's perspective) - Home electrification
Following the speakers there will also be a panel discussion where you can ask questions that will help you on your own electrification journey. Panellists include:
- Gavin Gilchrist (Inner West Community Energy Inc., Project Manager) - Solar and battery installation
- Dr Emma Skowronski (Doctors for the Environment NSW/ACT) - Induction cooking and the health benefits of disconnecting from gas
- Joe Bacolo (Ecovantage, National Sales and Operations Manager) - Government incentives to Electrify Everything
