It keeps getting more expensive to run our businesses, whether it's the costs of refrigeration, shipping products, or heating our office spaces. But there is a way to avoid those rising costs and Electrify Dunedin will show you how.

Electrify Your Business is a one-day showcase of practical solutions to help businesses save money, reduce emissions, and future-proof their operations by upgrading from fossil fuel machines to modern electric alternatives. The event combines lightning talks, networking, stalls, and much more.

This business-only session will be followed by a public session, Electrify Your Home, featuring case studies, Q&A, and clear pathways for action. Make sure to sign up for the public session as well here: https://events.humanitix.com/electrify-dunedin-how-to-save-money-on-your-energy-bills-feat-mike-casey

Most Dunedin homes could be saving thousands on their energy bills each year, while also slashing emissions, simply by upgrading their gas and petrol machines to the electric equivalents available today - and ideally powering them with solar and batteries for more self-sufficiency in case of power cuts or natural disasters.

Dunedin has crossed the “electrification tipping point” where homes, farms and businesses can now save money and reduce their emissions by going electric. It’s a massive win-win and a lot of people don’t know about the potential savings that are hiding in their cupboards, kitchens and driveways.

Rewiring Aotearoa is trying to change that and we’re supporting grassroots action across the country. Community electrification groups are popping up all over the place and helping to raise awareness about the benefits for their local region and helping locals through the process. Now, it’s time to bring the buzz to Dunedin.

Come along to hear from Mike Casey, who is saving tens of thousands a year on his all-electric solar-powered cherry orchard, and find out how electrifying Dunedin is the smartest, cheapest, and healthiest way to power our lives.

This event is delivered by Electrify Dunedin, a community group of Rewiring Aotearoa, in association with the Dunedin City Council, University of Otago, Aurora Energy and local partners.
