Electrotherapy Course (Adelaide SA)

This course will equip you with a thorough understanding of the principles and concepts relating to electrotherapeutics in the health care setting.

You'll gain an understanding of the science and the research that supports the use of this modality, and the various ways that it is employed via the range of equipment on the market.

Both transcutaneous (via the skin) and intramuscular (via dry needles) electrotherapeutic techniques will be taught. You do not need to be trained in dry needling to attend.

Participants will come away from this course being confident in the use of TENS (transcutaneous, electrical nerve stimulation) and EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) for pain relief, injury rehabilitation, recovery and for the treatment of various musculoskeletal or neuromuscular conditions.

This course is open to all health care professionals wishing to broaden their scope of practice and understanding of this highly effective and often misused modality.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Tickets to this course can be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the course with a full refund, minus a $30 booking/administration fee which is held by the booking system.
Tickets cancelled within 7 days of the course will not be eligible for a refund.
If ACE has to cancel the course, all fees will be refunded.
