Element 2024
Event description
Purpose:
Element embodies a visionary approach to revolutionize the global mining industry by creating an autonomous electric mine with a minimal environmental footprint. Drawing on Australia's expertise in managing remote domains in our outback and inspired by the emerging developments in the global space sector and similarity in challenges they face, we aim to showcase a model for a sustainable, automated supply chain powered by renewable energy.
Aim:
Beyond the mechanics of mining, our summit is a call to reshape our very relationship with Earth's bounty. It's an invitation to redefine our approach towards resource extraction, ensuring it is in harmony with ethical mandates and environmental consciousness. Our summit aims to:
- Redefine Innovation: Propel discussions beyond the technical, reimagining our bond with the Earth's riches.
- Champion Sustainability: Advocate a holistic view of resource extraction, promoting a truly sustainable and circular approach.
- Diversify Perspectives: Embrace and integrate insights from every corner of society for a multifaceted mining vision.
- Lead Thoughtfully: Establish Australia as the epicentre of innovative, responsible mining practices.
- Inspire Tomorrow's Leaders: Kindle the passion and ethics in the mining industry's future torchbearers.
- Collaborate Broadly: Push boundaries by fostering collaborations across sectors, translating groundbreaking ideas into reality.
- Uphold Cultural Integrity: Ensure our advances in technology walk hand-in-hand with Australia's rich cultural tapestry and ethical commitments.
