Dancing Dhevas take you on an ecstatic dancing journey through the elements, on this night we dance with AIR.

The elemental dances seek to inspire our dance practice to ecstatic states that feed and nourish us on all dimensions.

Air is the element of intelligence, creativity, and beginnings. Largely intangible and without permanent form, air is an active element, superior to the more material elements of water and earth.

Conscious dance requires that we bring our awareness to breath, the air that enters and leaves us will fuel a dance journey that will take us flying around the room. To fly our wings demand wind and this power must be conjured from the depths of our relationship to the air element. Sound and music is another manifestation of the Air element and so we dance to air in motion! Air is the element of ideas, imagination, the power of the mind and visualisation, of new life and new possibilities.

Let us fill our lungs with fresh glorious air and move through the dance floor on wings of lightness, hope for the future and peace in all hearts.

The Dancing Dhevas community welcomes everyone with open arms, feel safe to explore and venture into the unknown territory of your self expression. Bring all of who you are, the good and the not so good, find your dance and dance it with passion into the waters of life.

We start and end in a circle, together as a whole forming a oneness, the integrity of this chain relys on the integrity of each link.
